CDM responds to the needs of SMEs to have qualified professionals taking care of the company’s CSR strategies with a strong focus on community development. CDM will aim at an enhanced integration of Companies in the local communities to meet not only their material needs by offering products or services but, most importantly, their social needs that influence the community wellness. Thus, the Community Development Manager (CDM) will be the bridge between corporate responsibility initiatives targeting local communities and the corporate business strategy.
The objectives of the project are to increase awareness about the need for and potential of community-oriented CSR and sustainability strategies in companies, to enhance innovative VET training and consistent knowledge about CSR linked to community development and to design and pilot different forms of collaboration between companies and local communities that allow social sustainable initiatives for the territory.
