DIGITALLI Project Kick-Off Meeting: Advancing AI-Driven Digital Learning Strategies

The Kick-Off Meeting for the DIGITALLI project, hosted by the University of Nicosia (UNIC) in Cyprus on December 10, 2024, marked the official launch of activities aimed at developing AI-driven digital learning strategies for adult education. During the meeting, project partners and key stakeholders established a strong foundation for collaborative efforts to address the challenges of digital transformation in lifelong learning.
The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss the goals, deliverables, and expected outcomes of Work Package 2 (WP2). Roles and responsibilities were clarified to ensure smooth execution of research and development tasks, while the methodology, tools, and research approaches were finalized. A comprehensive timeline with key milestones and deadlines was also agreed upon, laying the groundwork for effective coordination and progress as the project advances its mission to enhance digital competencies and integrate AI technologies into lifelong learning.
DIGITALLI addresses the urgent need for digital transformation in Europe’s adult education sector. With over 50% of adults lacking basic digital skills and many educators feeling unprepared to effectively use digital tools, the project aims to close this gap. It seeks to empower lifelong learning institutions by providing frameworks, training, and resources to support the creation of inclusive and adaptive learning environments. By addressing infrastructure gaps and fostering digital readiness, DIGITALLI strives to bridge the digital divide in adult education. The DIGITALLI partners are: Meta4 Innovations e. U. (Austria), University of Nicosia (Cyprus), CENTER ZA IZOBRAZEVANJE IN KULTURO TREBNJE (Slovenia), The Rural Hub CLG (Ireland), and CARDET360 SINGLE MEMBER P.C. (Greece).
Stay tuned for updates as DIGITALLI continues its transformative journey in adult education!
