CDM Project Consortium Gathers in Athens for Key Co-Design Meeting

The Community Development Management (CDM) project partners convened in Athens, Greece, on June 3rd and 4th for a pivotal two-day co-design meeting. This milestone event brought together representatives from across Europe, taking a significant step toward turning research into practical, impactful action.

The primary focus of the meeting was to shape the CDM professional profile and lay the foundations for the project’s training curriculum. Designed in alignment with European Qualification Framework (EQF) Level 6 standards, the training aims to equip professionals with the skills and knowledge to effectively support individuals in managing and developing their careers.

Key highlights of the meeting included:

  • Reviewing research findings from partner countries and identifying common challenges and training needs
  • Defining the role and core competencies of the Community Development Manager
  • Drafting the structure of the CDM curriculum, including learning objectives and course modules
  • Discussing training delivery methods, including online and blended approaches
  • Planning next steps, including pilot programmes and innovation-driven hackathons

As the CDM project progresses, this meeting served as a catalyst for building a robust, inclusive training programme and preparing for the dynamic activities ahead.
