3aDitional Project Holds Three-Day Trainers’ Meeting in Alessandria, Italy

The 3aDitional project consortium convened in Alessandria, Italy, from 2 to 4 February for a three-day transnational meeting focused on preparing the upcoming pilot training activities and reviewing overall project progress.
The meeting brought together project partners and trainers with the primary objective of ensuring that all trainers are fully familiarised with the 3aDitional training contents in additive manufacturing (3D printing). This preparatory work is essential to guarantee the successful implementation of the pilot action foreseen under Work Package 4 (WP4).
3aDitional aims to strengthen skills in additive manufacturing within the footwear, toy, and jewellery sectors—industries largely composed of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that often face limited access to advanced technologies and specialised training opportunities.
In addition to the train-the-trainers sessions, consortium members reviewed all ongoing project tasks, assessed progress against planned milestones, and discussed the next steps for the coming project phase. The meeting provided a valuable opportunity for alignment among partners and reinforced the consortium’s shared commitment to delivering high-quality, sector-relevant training solutions.
The outcomes of the Alessandria meeting mark an important step forward in the implementation of 3aDitional and in supporting SMEs in adopting innovative additive manufacturing technologies.
